Stage #4
Energy Recovery

The active room's thermostat has been satisfied.

The Digital Manager turns the boiler off and continues to circulate water in the boiler and through the last active zone until the boiler is cool. SYSTEM 2000 then sits idle waiting for the next call for heat.

This unique combination of Digital Energy Manager and low-mass boiler is a significant contributor to SYSTEM 2000's extraordinary seasonal efficiency.

About Hot Water

With SYSTEM 2000, a virtually unlimited hot water supply is always readily available. The tank sits warm at the desired temperature and waits for hot water usage in the home.

If there is a call for hot water, the system immediately begins to generate hot water in a process similar to the heating function previously demonstrated. Instead of boiler energy being sent to active heating zones, it is sent to the hot water storage tank, and is available for distribution throughout the home.
